Can’t wait to go back again! Hope we get another Emily Kinney concert (for Halloween) and Emily Kinney VIP passes!
Yess so agradable
Will VIP’s, Gold’s, and Platinum’s go on Sale on NOV. 1ST as well??? And my Husband and I still have not received an email reply about the Lanyards we were without, the entire weekend, that was a pain in the butt to pull oUT and hold up every single time we did something.
What a great time in 2014. I know 2015 is going to be even better. Hope the Harp Twins come back.
Cant wait, This year was a blast! Booked my hotel as soon as I got home. Now just need Tickets for 2015!!!! Cant wait to see my TWD Family
which hotel did u book if you don’t mind me asking? i couldn’t go this year but am planning to attend next year!!
I stayed at the Peachtree, it is right beside the convention! It worked great!
stayed at the Hyatt
2014 was a blast! Definitely hoping to go back in 2015! The only thing to be improved upon are the photo ops. Anyone who was there this year, will know what I mean…
Yes, it was ridiculous. I waited over three hours for my photo op with Norman Reedus and I was VIP, which didn’t seem to make a difference though.
We had to wait about 3 hours for Norman as well! Poor guy! I hope it doesn’t put him off attending next year!
I thought con meant convention. Not a scheme to fleece everyone of their money – if you want to improve on the experience do away with VIPs they are useless lots of pissed off folks in the lines I was in
I loved walker stalker con this year. It was downright amazing. However, the overselling of simply everything at the convention, especially VIP’s, and the PRICE of the autographs made it a little less amazing. I know Walker Stalker has no hold over the “autograph pricing”, but if prices go up again next time, Only upper class people will be able to go and enjoy themselves, because let’s face it, it’s so overcrowded that no one is going to have fun as General Admission.
Please have VIP passes for Abe’s Army!!! Please please please I want a Josh McDermitt VIP!!!
Toast
I had a celeb VIP, which was great, save for the panels. We went to the Grove panel, which was right after the Bromance panel. that panel did not get cleared out after, so instead of being close, we were shoved 10 rows back. There were people sitting in front that were NOT vips at all. NOT cool. if you have a celeb VIP for a celeb in that panel, you should be right behind the platinum and gold. If I’d known waiting in line for 90 minutes got me that, I wouldn’t have wasted my time.
Are you guys providing a discount code for VIP like you did last yr? I was able to purchase my VIP tix with a discount code pretty soon after they went on sale. Thanks! Love WSC and had the time of my life in Atlanta WSC 2014!!!!
How fast do the gold VIPs generally sell out? Are they the best value out of all tiers? Are chances good that Norman and Andy will return? Lots of people spend lots of money just in the hopes that they will be added and won’t cancel. Seems like a pretty big gamble.
last year you provided an opportunity for returning wsc goers to purchase tickets at a discount when they first went on sale. are you going to do that again?
WSC on Halloween weekend sounds like SO much fun! But I think the venue is too small.
Yes please limit the number of VIPs this year. It seemed like more than 3 percent were VIP. Also the venue was really small. Other than that I had a awesome time!
Do you think that the VampIre Diaries guys will be there next year? Ian Somerhalder especially? Is that something that you guys invite them to?
I was curious if you’re going to or can invite some cosplayers the the Atlanta 2015 Con like there were at the Chicago WSC? Thanks, just curious. Had an overall blast the last two years at WSC Atl
For all of you who attended walker stalker can you please tell me if you purchase an autograph do most of the walking dead crew talk a photo at the table with you.
Most of them did, but you didn’t need to purchase an auto to get a pic, $20 will get you that. The big names didn’t do this though, Norman, Andy, Melissa, Chandler. Hope that answers your question
Thank you so much!! I already met Norman and I know he’s way too busy for a pic at his table lol do you happen to know if laurie holden, Lauren cohan, David Morrissey or Steven yeun do?
Not sure about Laurie Holden, but the others probably don’t either.
Laurie Holden will do a photo at her table for an extra fee. Lauren Cohen doesn’t. Not sure about David Morrisey, but I don’t think Steven Yeun does either.
Steven Yeun charged $60 to do a selfie at his table and charged an additional $60 for autographs. I went to WSCNY/NJ.
I had an AMAZING time in Atlanta! I just have one comment. October is my B day month and for myself I bought a GOLD VIP pass. You know those are very pricey. Which is fine because I didn’t have to wait in line that long for autographs. What I did have a problem was at the BROMANCE panel with Andrew and Norman …. The 1st 3 rows were for Gold VIPS. I got there early and I still was like 5 rows in. My friend (who is also Gold) looked around for a seat too. And We saw PLENTY of people that were regular VIP or General Admission sitting in the Gold rows. That was NOT fair and we even told one of the staff to please check the badges. Next time at the con have several ushers take us to our seat. There isnt that many Platinum and Gold Vips so that shouldnt be a problem. But I saw for myself some people that were reg and GA just took our seats.
I really loved working WSC Atlanta 2014 can’t wait to do it again Brad Justice is amazing
I have enjoyed that last two WalkerStalkers in ATL. Any chance of going old school? I would love to see some Dawn of the Dead guys (BOTH VERSIONS!) come to the city of zombies!!
I bought a gold VIP for 2015 and wanted to know if I could trade the photo ops for more autographs
I got my platinum yesterday, and I’m so excited, I want to cry!! I’m coming all the way from Chicago. I started watching The Walking Dead after a near-fatal car accident that left me throwing up on myself in a hospital bed, unable to take care for myself for months. Most people in my life were so uncomfortable with this dramatic change in my condition, that they turned their backs on me. It was an awful time, and I really think that TWD saved my life by giving me something to look forward to each week. To be able to have so much of the past and present cast in one location and express my gratitude to those responsible for getting me through that harrowing experience will be a dream come true. Thank you so much James and Eric for making this possible. This will be the best Halloween of my life!!!
I am also Platinum and from Chicago too!
To those who have gone to the convention, if you don’t mind I have a question or two:
I’ve been to over 20 conventions and have stood in line to talk with celebrities/artists. Upon reading peoples experiences with this convention I am a bit confused.
To just speak to one of the celebrities do you have to pay? I’m not too big into autographs and I stand in line to just say hello. I’ve never had anyone tell me otherwise yet, when reading reviews and watching videos it seems….different?
How was your experience like? Did each celebrity have different wishes?
I want to meet Melissa but I can’t afford $300 dollars for the VIP. I wouldn’t mind buying a autograph either if necessary.
Is it worth going if I am a GA? So many people have said it didn’t matter if they had a VIP or not.
I’m just confused and would love some to hear from those who have gone.
I had a Vampire Weekend VIP which included autographs from Paul and Ian as well as a duo photo op with them, but you were counted as VIP in all lines. But there was a TON of people there. I think it would be better if the celebs were there when the VIPs were allowed in a hour early as I believe that would have cut down on line times. Anyway, point being that whomever you buy a VIP, you get an autograph and photo op with that person and you have to pay for the others. I got table side pics with Cudlitz, Scott Wilson, Brighton Sharbino, Chad Coleman. The major cast members I bought photo ops for, but I didn’t get all their autographs so Im not sure if they were selling pics @ the table as well. It was an amazing time and I get to see/touch/talk to Norman a total of 6 times, twice of which I was not in line at all It was a great time, met lots of new people whom are now friends, Plan on making it a yearly girls’ weekend. I bought a Gold VIP for 2015 and I am STOKED!! Can’t wait!! Hope that helps with some of your questions…
I went to WSC in Atlanta this year. We had a blast! I already have our hotel reservations for next year and am keeping a close eye on the celebrity VIP passes to go on sale. I have told everyone I know about WSC and encourage them all to go and be a part of this awesome event!
If you don’t mind me asking which hotel are you staying at? I want to book something close and not TOO expensive. Thanks in advance!
I was wondering if there if going to be platinum vip passes
If I have Gold Tickets, can one of my photo ops be with a group or does it have to be a single Celeb? Thank You
I can’t wait!
I can’t wait to meet Emmy Kinney because I have the same birthday as her (August 13)
Living in Massachusetts me and my girl have tickets to the Boston one but still plan on flying down for this show since not all the actors like to visit the City of Champions. By the way Tom Brady would survive the zombie apocalypse by throwing perfect spirals at Walker heads with such velocity the skulls would crumble.
So I know it’s in Georgia but, where is it exactly located! Please give me the address
Flying down from Boston, not to excited about the Boston guests.. this one looks more exciting
I am hoping to go to Atlanta this year and I am traveling from Wichita, Kansas. I have been reading through and seeing some bad comments about VIP and I was hoping to get some opinions on them before I decide to go through with the whole VIP experience. can anyone help me out??
Are props allowed in? And What is the zombie bash? And How do I get in?
I’m just in SC. It’s not too far. But what’s the difference in tickets? I’m confused. What do you even get to do with gen admin? Meet the celebs? Or just walk around? I just want a few pix.
With general admission you get to do the same as everyone, just after VIP, Gold, and Platinum, Photo ops and autographs are extra money for most admissions. You also get to attend all the panels, just after the latter have been admitted.
Do I have to preorder tickets?
so excited to go and meet david morrissey! he’s my favorite actor of all time, even in his projects outside of the walking dead! i hope he doesn’t cancel like last year!!
