hey, I don’t suppose there is any way to find others for roomates with the hotel rooms is there? may help more guest and venders to go with less shared room fee
Hi, i’m thinking of attending and i would like to have roommates to share room fee with i’m coming from Washington State and well it would be awesome to share hotel fee with someone
I’m interested in this as well.
I’m thinking of going to sign up as a volunteer, but I need someone to share a room with. I don’t mind sharing with strangers did it plenty of other times at Dragon Con and other conventions.

omg so excited vip tickets two nights message me
^^ not a bad idea. I haven’t secured anything yet but I am hoping to attend, since I donated to the Kickstarter. I am trying to figure out now how I can swing everything. I would be coming from NJ.
oh, long drive I’m in TN.
I am coming from nj too with my son
Sounds like NJ will be represented well during this convention. NJ here as well. Looks like a fantastic time.
Im terrified of elevators…my luck Imma get a “high” room
Coming from Gettysburg PA if anyone would want to split room.
I thought there was a facebook page but coundn’t find one. Perhaps we can make one so it is easier for everyone to contact each other about rooms. I am thinking of going as a vender and don’t mind sleeping on floor there is also the double bed rate that allows up to 4 people. Now that may be too many strangers for some but I could see 3 in room and have fee even less then.

Ella, add me on facebook and we can talk more to see if we’d both be happy with the arrangement.
I made a facebook page for people who are interested in sharing a room for the convention. https://www.facebook.com/WSCroomshare
that’s great , thanks for doing that.
I just booked my room, 1 king sized bed, if anyone wish to crash on the floor, is dependable, not totally cra cra and will not try to steal any of my shit, leave a message here and we will figure out how best to set it all up… I am thinking there would be floor splace for 3 to 4?
First come first serve, would prefer females
I was wondering if there is going to be a discount for parking?
At the hotel? I will contact them and let you know what we can find out.
James & Eric,
Does the VIP package include hotel stay? I have never done anything like this before. I called the hotel but they were not sure either.
If you stay at the hotel both Friday and Saturday nights does this get you into the meet and greet for both of those nights or just Friday night?
Just Friday night. The Saturday night meet and greet is for VIPs.
Im going no matter how much it is yay
So I booked the hotel. How does the Friday meet and greet work? Do we receive a badge or ticket at the con?
Show up with your badge and hotel key. We will verify you on our list.
Took the plunge and reserved my room! I’ll get my ticket next week, hopefully.
See you there!
I’m new to the con scene and need some help So do you buy tix to con/VIP meet and greet and then your hotel reservation gets you in to the meet and greet on Friday?
That is correct. Your hotel reservations get you into the Hotel Meet & Greet on Friday. Your VIP Pass to Walker Stalker Con gets you into the Saturday Night VIP Meet & Greet.
I have reserved a room for 2 nights, will my roommate have any trouble getting into the Friday night meet & greet?
As long as she’s listed as a room guest with the hotel and a has a badge for at least one day of the convention, she is fine.
Hi, I haven’t booked a room yet. Does anyone want to share?
I have rented a room for Fri & Sat. Am willing to share with the right person.
Male or female?
Male or female as long as everyone is easy going and agreeable
Well. I haven’t booked a room yet, so I’m in. Do you have an application process or something similar? lol
Application, 3 references & you have to pass a lie detector test!
Would the results of my latest polygraph be sufficient? I just took one on August 18th.
I will need a copy of that in triplicate please.
Karen, if you are still interested in sharing my room email me at [email protected]
Emailed you.
I was wondering if I add a person to my room can they still get in to the Friday meet and greet if they have a sat con ticket and are they able to go with me to the VIP party Friday if they don’t have a VIP pass my. Friend only has a day pass for sat
Hi.. is thst tall round building yhe hotelmwe’d be staying in? It is awesome. Nov. Is my b/d month, & -my dauaghter & I are hoping to get a king bed–room.
Will Andrew Lincoln be there?
Not sure about Andrew! When we know something we will announce it when it comes to all guests.
Ok thankyou.
Ok, thankyou.
In that atlanta pic… which building is the hotel? Just curious..
It’s the big fancy round one
The one that says Westin on it
Awesome!
So we bought the weekend pass (Saturday & Sunday) for this comic con, but we won’t be able to attend Friday because of classes and driving. We are going to book a room for Friday & Saturday night. Will we still be able to attend the Meet and greet if we aren’t going to the con on Friday?
checked out the misc. Prices of things/events etc.., I cannot afford to go at all.
Hoping at least one day we can take tours of where episodes were shot at…, !!??
OK, got my two days booked at the Westin. Since we wont arrive until late Friday night I will only be buying ticket for weekend (two bad you don’t offer a weekend VIP or VIP add on option) Am I correct to assume that with purchase of regular tickets and our hotel stay we can get in to the Friday night meet? (in other words, I won’t have VIP status, just regular with a hotel stay). The hotel does not offer a way for me to list my daughter’s name as a guest, only as a second adult so how will you know she is coming to the meet as well?
THIS CON IS GONNA BE AWESOME!!
Bring your room key to the party. Show it, give us your name and how many people are registered to your room. We will let that many people into the party and mark it off on the list. That way, no one else can come pretend to be you.
My fiancĂ© and I are coming to this for our honeymoon (wedding on Oct 31 so this worked ou perfectly). We are getting the Norman VIP tix and will be staying in a hotel but we don’t want to blow our budget by staying at this one. Can we get the address so we can still make sure to stay nearby? Or does anyone have a suggestion for a better priced nearby hotel? Ps- we will be the ones walking around in the Just Married hoodies. Feel free to say hi!
Why would you stay anywhere else? It’s the cheapest rate downtown and you’re right in the middle of the action? Plus, you get all the extras for staying at The Westin. It’s your honeymoon! Don’t go cheap! Ha!
Are the check in times the same as they are for normally staying at the hotel? The Westin website says 3pm for check in but I know the convention begins earlier and am hoping not to carry my things around all day until 3.
[…] that in just about five months they have wrangled a great host hotel and convention space (the Westin and Americas Mart in downtown Atlanta), gathered together an impressive guest list (forty-five […]
