It isn’t the cold- he cancelled his Wizard World appearance last time as well, and that was in August. Plus, the celebs never deal with the weather, it’s straight from the airplane to a nice heated car to the hotel (which is always attached to the con venue here). REALLY sucks he cancelled, though- he, Danai & Melissa are the main reasons we’re going…

Navy Pier is definitely not connected to any hotels here. You will indeed be walking outside (especially if you’re staying at a hotel)—bring a coat.
