even though the prices at this hotel are outrageous I was still going to get a room…they are already book…now I have to find another place
The hotel isn’t full, just the the block of tooms for the group rate. I actually got a decent rate with my AAA discount.
I’m definitely am a Walking Dead Addict! Thats all I do is think and talk about this show! I love the cast and everything about it! Missed it last year when they were in Atlanta and I know for sure I’ll be there next year being the fact I’m only 45 mins away!
this host hotel is all booked up a year before the con.

Same thing happened last year and wsc got another block at another hotel. We ended up staying at the double tree and it was nice.

I hotel isn’t full, the block of rooms with the group rate is . I got a decent rate with my AAA discount. I think the regular room rate is about $20 more than the group rate.
Try calling the hotel directly. I did and a room for the whole weekend. Website is still blocked out for some reason.

I just got on Omni’s website and they have rooms for sure, didn’t look under the Walker Stalker room block, but there are still rooms there. The other hotels that are close and reasonably priced are Hilton Garden Inn and Embassy. Good luck everyone! We just booked our room today!! WE LOVE WALKER STALKER CON!!!!!!!!! woohooo!!!
The hotel is nice and there is a food court right there at the bottom. The biggest thing about Atlanta (for those who have never been) is the parking. The hotels charge an outrageous amount and then to park near the venue is an outrageous amount so keep that in mind. Probably worth a little extra spent on the hotel to be within walking distance to the con. Could also see about purchasing parking ahead of time to guarantee a spot if it is offered.
And don’t forget to check the website for discounts if you are military. I know they offer them
I love the walking dead and sci fi and horror with all my heart and getting the opportunity to stay at this hotel and go to something that includes everything that I love is a dream come true!
How far is the walk from the hotel to the venue? Is it uphill or flat ? ”””””””””””’will you do what the westin did and show the episode on that sjneahso we wont miss it , they podcast it in the main ballroom so that we could all watch it together ! You cant host the Walking dead convention then make usmiss the episosde or there will be a riot hhahahaha l
The hotel is right next to the venue, maybe a 2 minute walk, if that. No uphill, just flat. Hope this helps
