Very disappointed with all the cancellations. We booked and travelled from the uk, 3 of the guests we wanted to see have already cancelled. Can’t understand how someone can have a schedule conflict on the day of the event.
I feel for everyone who had pre purchased there tickets. After all these cancelations and schedule changes im glad I didnt. This started out to be a convention to remember for twd fans and now it’s looking like one for as many cancelled guest as ones that will be there. After all this i wont be coming to this years but Thanks for last years. Hope those who attend have as good a time as I did last year.
Well, to be fair, Danai is likely practicing her ninja skills. I kid, I kid.. On a serious note, there are going to be tons of great panels and post-convention events. I’m quite excited. Cancellations for events of this scale are unavoidable. That falls upon the managers, agents, and PR people that work with the celebrity, not the convention staff.
What’s impressive is how much WSC has grown in just a few years. It all started as a simple fan meetup, if you really think about. Eric, James, Gooth, Nat, all the volunteers, and the entire team behind Walker Stalker Con are to be commended. It’s not an easy thing to coordinate, especially when most folks are volunteering for the event. They could always use more help, I’m sure.
I’d like to say that I was happy with the early/VIP ticket/badge pick-up yesterday. There was slight confusion but everyone was polite, energetic, and attentive. Lots of warm smiles and sincere greetings.
You have to take the good with the bad. I know the event will only get better and better. 8)

Oh. Bummer. It’s definitely not WalkerStalkerCon’s fault. They have worked very hard to build this. Too bad, though. She is a great guest. Glad I got to talk to her last year.

Very ungreatfull. Fans spend hard earned money, use up their vaction and have to suffer through last minute cancellations- Tbere will be a day these “stars” will be begging for attention.
“Scheduling conflict” means “something better came along.” I think the actors should honor their commitments, even if it means turning down a last minute job. I met a couple tonight who came all the way from Brazil for this. On top of that, they paid extra to get front row seats for the Michael Rooker panel. First, it was delayed an hour. Then it was canceled. That couple sat on that stage in the front row of the VIP section for two hours. They were so excited.
I don’t blame WalkerStalkerCon. They are doing the best they can. But these actors need to come down a little.
I’m also irritated about all the last minute cancellations. I attended the wsc in Boston this past June, Norman Reedus cancelled last minute as well. It’s so upsetting.. I hope everyone had a good time.
Ughhh so ill she was the one I wanted to meet I was so excited to see her. The day before really. How do you not know about a scheduling conflict before today. So now I have to wait till Tuesday to get my money back when I could have used it to purchase something else like a photo with Scott Wilson instead but nope want have the money too. It would have been nice of walker stalker to offer you someone else instead of telling me I have to wait till Tuesday
Wow! Last minute. She was the one I purchased photo ops for. I even bought a Michonne shirt to wear.
Yeah it really sucks that we don’t get our money back until Tuesday. That could’ve gone toward a photo op with someone else. Disappointed doesn’t even come close to describing how I feel right now.
She and Chad Coleman are the only reasons I bought tickets to this event. She better be lucky Chad is still comin’ *sharpens Halloween katana*
It just seems for ‘Michonne’ to cancel 1 day before it starts, she blew off her fans ,.. They talk about the fans… They appreciate what we the fans are, how about giving slits back & meeting us to see who we are… Fact is without us ,.. They ain’t much
