I got a total of $350 for all the autographs I want to get SO FAR at this convention, time to break the bank haha
I don’t understand something. Ok I’ve gone to cons and normally you just wait in line and pay for your autograph at the “stars” table. Now i get the whole photo op thing where some stars don’t take photos at their table but what’s up with this Autograph Ticket business? Explain !
I’ve been to many other cons as well and you usualy have to wait in line to get a pix/auto. Does this mean that I can pre-purchase the autograph and then get like a pass saying I’m guaranteed this person? Also, do you get a pre signed item and not your personal item? If that is the case I would not do this unless I can get my own personal item signed. HELP!
Did anyone get by answer to by really question because I was wondering the same lol
Last Walker Stalker I went to you paid per autograph so if you wanted them to sign something of your own you pay for that and if you would like an additional something autographed such as a photo you had to pay for that too. It is how many times they sign is how many time you pay
Even if you prepurchase anything its always subject to change. I purchased an Andrew Lincoln autograph and didn’t even get what I paid for.Walker Stalker is nothing vut a bunch of thieves and liars. BEWARE
Basically you buy ahead of time, print out the ticket for the autograph and you are guaranteed an autograph. Just makes the line move faster. If you don’t buy it ahead of time you will have to buy at the ticket booth there. No cash is exchanged at the actual autograph tables.
you can pay for photo/autograph at table, you just have to wait in line.
I went to WSC Atlanta and for Lauren Cohan and Melissa McBride, if you didn’t have a celebrity VIP or a pre-ordered autograph ticket, you were put in a separate line that would not move until everyone else had gone. Basically, you were automatically doomed for not pre-ordering. Something to keep in mind.
How long of a wait would you say it was for people who pre-ordered?
I am also interested how the photo/autograph pre sale works. My first con ever
Pre-ordering autographs or photo ops comes with a service fee, but I think it’s worth it. You are guaranteed to receive anything that you pre-order, unless the guest cancels, in which case you would be refunded. At least in the case of autographs for some of the celebs, if you don’t pre-order the tickets, you might end up in a separate line over which everyone else receives priority (this happened in Atlanta for McBride and Cohan).
They are allowing you to purchase the tickets ahead of time so that you don’t have to handle cash at the convention. You still have to wait in long lines and aren’t necessarily “guaranteed” anything. I have been to many conventions and I have walked away after waiting hours for autographs only to be told “Sorry that person didn’t come or they left and are not signing anymore”. If you pay ahead of time than you just have to get them to refund your card at that point.
I am just wondering do theses tickets go fast because this would be my first time to walker stalker con
OMG I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I REALLY WANT ANDREW LINCOLN TO COME!!!! I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH WAITING IN LINES FOR PEOPLE. I GOT TO 4 CONVENTIONS A YEAR
DO WE KNOW FOR SURE THE WALKING DEAD CAST ARE SIGNING AUTOGRAPHS AND TAKING PICS??
Anyone able to help me out with a discount code for the NJ event? Please.. I’m desperate =(
When you see how much each cast member is charging, you will be shocked! I’ve had the good fortune to attend autograph shows in Hollywood, CA area and met numerous OSCAR and EMMYwinners that charged a reasonable price. By reasonable, I mean 20.00, 25.00 or 30.00 for a signed photo. The Walking Dead cast happened to be on a hit show and they are getting all they can while than can. Norman Reedus admitted that much to someone I know. He is charging 85.00 per autograph and has the audacity to charge 20.00 more to stand up for you to get a picture with him. This after you have stood in line for hours! I attended the Con in Atlanta a few weeks ago. After paying 50.00 for Emily Kenney to make her mark on my large cast photo, I was so disgusted at the casts’ fees I left. I hear if you go on Sunday the crowd is considerably smaller. Also, Andrew Lincoln usually only signs 600 total so buy advanced ticket for him. He usually only attends on Saturday. He charged 50.00 in Atlanta. Hope this helps and doesn’t discourge you like I am. I will never attend another show for TWD again. Get the app- Goldstar in order to get discount tickets. I pd 28.00 with them. Otherwise the show promoters will jack you for 45.00 for Sat. attendance but only 35.00 on Fri or Sun.
Get the tickets if you can. I waited in line to get Norman Reedus for 3½ hours and still did not get one signed. Make sure to buy his ahead of time if you can. I was highly disappointed and mad at the whole event due to this. Thanks.
I waited I. Line for Norman Reedus for 7 hrs at chiller theatre in April.
I waited open till close for Norman at wizard world in Philly. We took turns standing in the line. And we literally got 30 seconds couldn’t even ask a question after paying 80$ for an autograph. It’s not not his fault and at first they cut his line off and stayed giving people money back and tools us we would have a couple minutes to talk to him but too many people complained so they let them back in line and he ended up staying past closing even though he had a flight to catch.
We were at the Philly Wizard Con to see Norman Reedus too. It was complete hell and mayhem. We prebought tix for Norman and spent the entire day and part of the evening waiting in line. Horrible experience. Norman is an amazing guy, but the venue was unorganized.
the best place to get cheap autographs with short lines was at wizard world con in NYC its very small, so only like maybe 5 panels total and no more then 10 cosplayers (sad) for the whole event, but the good news was we got a free walking dead comic at the door and if u wanted to sell it immediately they will pay u ten or 15 for it. I kept all mine as far as the autographs went fantastic the longest line had 25 people ahead of me, I met Andrea, Merle, rick, Lori, and Darryl who was super nice he took like 6 pics and he even gave my daughter a toy, we bought four 8×11 signed pics maybe $30 or $40 with photos included. We also met Russel Eddington from true blood awesome guy, Spike from Buffy vampire slayer another awesome guy, the Fonz, Ralph Macchio and the green power ranger (i could’ve passed on the last 2 lol) so in my opinion when looking for autograughs go to the smaller shittier cons and you will get more for the money
Does anyone know who out of these people will take a pic at their table with a signed autograph? I went to wizard world in Philly and I know Michael rooker, Scott Wilson and jon bernthal did there. Norman reedus was too busy, I don’t think he could if he wanted to. But Lauren Cohan and the one who played Lori would not take a pic at their table with an autograph so for those of you who have gone to walker stalker before I was wondering if you knew about any of these people? Thank you…
Sarah Wayne Calles was awesome at Chicago Wizard World. She took a picture if you bought an autograph. She is really nice. One of my favorites.
I waited in line for Norman Reedus for almost 8 hours at chiller theatre. Never again!!
I was wondering when you buy an autograph do they give you like a stock photo of themselves , or a paper. This will be my first con,
I haven’t gone to a walker stalker con yet and reading and judging by these comments I don’t think I ever will. I met Norman reedus this past weekend at Ohio comic con and I had just general admission and all I had to do was stand in line for about an hour and a half. When I got to him btw I’m 14 years old I gave him a gift (lil dinky coffee cup that had zombies and stuff on it XD) he hugged me and then held my hand and talked to me and my for like 4 minutes gave me two more hugs and a high five. He didn’t rush me or anything, he was extremely nice and I was surprised cause there was still sooooo many people behind me waiting for there turn. I also met Steven yeun who was absolutely the sweetest and Andrew j. West who is awesome and funny. I think if you ever want to meet the TWD cast go to the wizard world comic cons. They never rip you off on autographs or photo ops. Well the prices are still the same but its a lot easier to meet everyone then I guess it is at the walker stalker cons.
Do y’all think they will do a special Norman reddus
Do y’all think they will do a special Norman reddus xoxoxoxxooxoxo
Is there a time schedule posted for autographs?
Im confused. You pay for a photo with the actor/ress. This doesn’t include a autograph?
