When you order an autograph ticket do you get a picture that the sign when you meet them? And can we take our own pictures too?

Awww. Sorry Mary. Such is the way it is with cons though. Work comes first for the celeb guests so they might have to cancel if there’s a scheduling conflict with an acting gig, or of course a medical or family emergency. This is the reason I never plan to go to a con for just one guest. However, even without Norman attending, there is an awesome lineup for this event and it will undoubtedly be amazing! Why not try throwing the doubt out and going with a positive attitude? I’m a big Norman/Daryl fan too, but he’s not all there is to TWD.

As far as what your trying to say Brian, step off of your soap box. Yes twd started as a comic, but I can guarantee that over 50% of attendees are merely raging fans of the show that want to meet their favorite people as well as zombie lovers, NOT habitual con attendees! This will be my first con, and over $2k was spent on that weekend between gold vip passes and hotel stay. When originally purchased most of the motivation to buy all of the “upgrades” rather than going a day was completely influenced by the attendance of Norman. Needless to say it’s an expensive disappointment and lesson learned on my part. I too will still be attending and making the best of it but my point is people have good reason for their negative attitude especially when they buy something expecting one thing but then get something else they didn’t want.

I’ll miss Norman as well, and I’ll really miss Flandus (those in the know, know). What I am really bummed about is AMC issuing a gag order on all current TWD Cast at all con appearances (it’s happening at Wizard World as well). SERIOUSLY AMC?!?!?! Really you don’t trust the cast to be professional enough NOT to talk about the current filming? They could still have plenty to discuss about the past seasons. I just find that disappointing from AMC (or their parent company).

I’ll still have a fun and very much looking forward to the panels, just wish they’d lift the Black Out order.
