2013 – stayed at the Omni, several of the stars stayed there that first year… Scott Wilson took his cigar breaks across the street from the hotel smoking area…. he was GREAT! He’s SO sweet.
2014 – stayed at the Hyatt. “Tripped” over a couple of the cast members, away from their “handlers,” and they, too, were awesome. Norman being probably one of the most energetically interactive with his fans. But if they’re “on the clock,” their handlers are VERY strict, and not very nice about it in some cases.. If you catch, I think, any of the celebrities while they’re on their own time, and you don’t take excessive advantage of the opportunity, will let you get a quick cell (or whatever) pic with them.

For the questions about the convention. Each guest charges a range of 30-60 for an autograph and 20-40 for a photo at the table. I went to 2014 walker con and got a table photo with almost every actor with the exception of Andrew and Norman. Norman is the most expensive autograph he has been charging 80 bucks lately. If you are coming from far away i highly suggest some sort of VIP pass. This convention is the BEST convention experience i have ever had and i highly recommend it to anyone who is a Walking dead fan.

Do you know if someone like your mom/dad could take a photo with their phone of you and an actor for free or do you have to pay.

Went to Walker Stalker Atlanta 2014, it was awesome, with one exception. Photo ops where very unorganized.
We went to Wizard world Reno, in November 20141,saw TWD cast, photo ops were sooooo organized. This was the first time Reno had hosted a wizard world.I hope the Walker Stalker Team can learn from Wizard World. It would make the experience perfect!

Since Chandler lives here in the area, it’s pretty likely he’ll be here. Norman stays here in the area during this time bc they film on the weekends and he’s usually able to be here Sat. and Sun. unless he has something suddenly come up.

Hi ya’ll. I went both years and will return again in 2015. I do not do panels, but I can tell u that u MUST buy a photo op tix for each actor u wish to meet. Some/most actors have tables or booths and u can say hello or buy an autograph, but NO photos. They are strict about this. I have met them all basically, but I paid for photos with Andrew, Chandler, Norman, Michael, & Melissa. Others we chatted with and took pix with … away from the tables. I believe the company wants to cease the photo taking because the photographer makes his money from the private photos. But Norman gave us high fives, we talked to Danai outside the photo area and took a pix with her, etc. It’s just a fun time. See ya there!
